The PHECC First Aid Response (FAR) course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and competence required to respond effectively to a wide range of medical emergencies and injuries in the workplace and community setting.

This programme is delivered in accordance with Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) standards and combines theory, practical skills training and scenario-based assessments to ensure learners develop confidence and competence in emergency response.

Course Options

FAR Initial (Full Course)

Suitable for individuals completing First Aid Response training for the first time or whose certification has expired.

Duration: 3 Days (as per PHECC requirements)

Participants complete all required modules, practical skills assessments and cardiac first response components.

FAR Recertification

Designed for participants who hold a current, in-date PHECC FAR certificate and wish to renew their qualification.

Duration: 2 Days (as per PHECC recertification requirements)

The recertification course refreshes core knowledge and reassesses all practical skills in line with PHECC standards.
